Don't forget about the 4th Wednesday of the month fly tying session at Egypt Fire Co. Training Hall. Open to the public. It's free! You do not have to be a member to attend. Bring your own tools and materials. Very informal. Tie your own or a fly someone might be demonstrating. You can donate the flies to Casing for Recovery if you would like to.

The 2018 Session of the Fly Tying Course is scheduled to start on Saturday, Jan. 6.

The class will be held in the new Northampton Area Middle School cafeteria. Doors will be open at 8:30 AM. Class starts at 9:00 AM. See the Calendar of Events page for an Application and a Map to the site.

Want to try weaving a fly? This site has a few videos on the process.

The Chapter will again be tying flies for the Casting for Recovery participants at the Skytop Lodge event. Sixteen copies of the same fly will be needed. They will all be placed in a flybox for presentation to the participants. The compartments are small so no large flies are needed (size 12 or smaller). Contact Dave Abraham with info on the fly you would like to donate.
